Post Office appointed the London based integrated advertising agency TMW 2008 to redesign the web site for their most profitable business segment - travel insurance. When it comes to e-commerce solutions design has to fulfill the aim for users to navigate most easily through the web site and click on the call to actions for making a purchase. Data capture forms are of high importance and the drop-out rate has to be kept low. For this reason information architects have to work together with designers and technical teams closely to validate the feasibility. In the Post Office's case the drop out rate and user testing proved a rise in sales and a higher visual perception of the site.
